How does Ivory & Bear work?
Each Ivory & Bear companion arrives as a special bear making experience. Inside you'll find everything needed to bring your companion to life at home, including the selected bear skin heart, wish card, birth certificate and stuffing.
What age are they suitable for?
Our bear making kits are designed to be enjoyed for ages 3 - 103.
Wether you are creating memories with a little one, choosing a meaningful gift for someone special or simply young at hear, Ivory & Bear companions are made to be treasured by all ages.
Children should always be supervised by a responsible adult during the bear making experience.
How do I stuff my bear?
Our bears are designed to be perfect for hand stuffing.
Top tip - if you are making the bears with children, grab a couple of wooden spoons to help them push the stuffing into the arms and legs, it really adds to the fun of the experience.
Once the bear has been stuffed you simply pull the zip tie attached to the stuffing sack in the back of your bear and trim off any excess. Fold the sack back inside the bear, remove the velcro cover and secure shut with the velcro fastening, giving the bears a seamless finish.
Are the products safety tested?
Yes. Our companion skins and stuffing elements have all been tested through our supplier to the applicable UK safety standards and carry the relevant UKCA and CE certifications where required.
